2023 OFRW Legislative Day

This year's 2023 OFRW Legislative Day will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at the Statehouse in Columbus.  If you would like to participate, you must register using the online form below or you can send an email to treasurer@theofrw.org to register by April 22.  A box lunch will be available and is optional ($15).  If you would like a box lunch, please let us know via the email or online registration form and you must pay for the lunch by April 19th via check or the Paypal link below)

LEGISLATIVE DAY SCHEDULE

10:00 - 4:00  -  You'll need to schedule time with your legislators. Most have schedulers and should be able to assist.

10:00 - 12:00  -  Spring Board Meeting in 1230-4 State Room.  All OFRW Members may drop off your "stuff" in that room  and go about your appointments (unless you are on the board, of course, you'll need to remain for the board meeting.)

12:00 - 1230 -  OFRW Lunch in State Room with OFRW members (optional).  Box Lunches will be available for $15 from Milo's Catering and include a sandwich (choices listed below), side salad with vinaigrette, kettle chips and a gluten free brownie. (You must reserve your lunch with payment by April 19th)

Sandwich Choices:

• • MILO’S SIGNATURE CLUB - Roasted turkey, ham, bacon, Monterey jack, lettuce, tomato & herb aioli on pretzel bun - box lunch also includes a side salad with vinaigrette, kettle chips and a gluten free brownie
  • SMOKEY TURKEY - Roasted turkey, smoked gouda, lettuce, tomato & dijonnaise on sourdough - box lunch also includes a side salad with vinaigrette, kettle chips and a gluten free brownie
  • VEGETARIAN GREEK HUMMUS WRAP - Hummus, feta, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber & olives in spinach wrap -box lunch also includes a side salad with vinaigrette, kettle chips and a gluten free brownie

*There will be water and iced tea available in the room. If you prefer coffee or soda, there is a cafeteria in the basement of the Statehouse.

12:30  - Group Picture!  What's a legislative day without a group photo?

After 12:30  -  OFRW member participants may meet legislators or their staff in 1230-4 State Room if they are not able to host you.

12:30 - 4:00  -  We will have your base of operations available for you in the Stateroom.

Parking:  Parking at the Statehouse is first come, first serve and I’m told they fill up fast in the morning.  You may have to park at Columbus commons, or on the street.
